Dr. DiCosimo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded certificates of advanced specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut upon completion of his residency program.
Dr. DiCosimo is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. DiCosimo is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Fifth District Dental Society, and the Onondaga County Dental Society. He is a founding member of the Central New York Study Group for Dentofacial Abnormalities.
Geraldine M. DiCosimo, M.S., R.N., C.S. received her diploma as a Registered Professional Nurse from the E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, NY. She received a Bachelor of Science degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University. Ms. DiCosimo then obtained a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University again graduating Summa Cum Laude. Ms. DiCosimo has received a certificate of completion as a Registered Nurse First Assistant from SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Ms. DiCosimo is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Primary Care. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is an active member of the American Nurses' Association and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Interntional Honor Society of Nursing. She has over 30 years experience in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Ms. DiCosimo is a published expert in the nursing management of individuals with developmental disabilities. She volunteers much of her time to developing programs for and advocating for the rights of individuals with special needs.
